I had my surgery on July 14th.   Everything went well.  I suffered from panic attacks when I came home.   Other than that it went great.  Only suffered one week of panic attacks and everything ok now.   I lost 21 pounds of water from the hospital gain and then another 10 lbs.  So far I am doing good. 

Went to see my doctor and she said I am right on target and healing well.   No excercise restrictions.  I do mostly walking for right now.

Well, I am anxious to start losing more weight and I have to be patient.  I weigh myself everyday WHICH IS NOT GOOD!

I have submitted almost all of my doctors reports.  I need to have a pap test and a mamogram.  This should be done in March.  I started at 354 five years ago and lost 126 lbs on my own.  I now weigh 228 lbs.  I am looking forward to the surgery and have started to diet like I have had it already.  Drinking protein drinks, and cutting out diet coke.  I have not given up coffee yet.  Hopefully, I can still have that after surgery.  At least decaf.  I am getting my mind and body in the right frame of mind. 

Looking forward to spring and a new journey hopefully.  I read so many success stories here and they are encouraging.  Would like to tell everyone how wonderful to read them it is.

I am looking forward to being a healthier me.  I have sleep apnea, diabetes 2 and a few other things like cholesteral and high blood pressure.  Everything is under control with medicine and a bipap machine.  Hopefully after surgery I can take less medicine.  Just be healthy!

I am tired of people looking at me sadly and saying "so, you are really going to do this?"  I am going to stop telling people I am going to have it and when.  No one has been supportive but one friend.   My family is supportive too, I must say that.  They are just worried about complications and going into surgery.  They know I can keep up the diet and are not worried about that.

Well!  Hope to hear something soon about surgery.  I will keep you posted!
