I'm on the other side!! (11-5-09)

Hello.  Just wanted to post that everything went great with my surgery!  I was in the hospital until Monday afternoon (3 nights) as I had a pretty big drain tube sticking out of me.  So far, things have been pretty smooth with the liquids.  I've been drinking chicken broth, beef broth, sugar free jellos. sugar free popsicles, protein drinks that I ordered from bariatricchoice.com, and I don't feel hungry at all!  I have to remember to drink for three meals a day!  I haven't weighed since the day of my surgery at the hospital, but that day, from the two week liquid diet, I had lost 16 pounds.  My scale at home doesn't weigh over 300 pounds so I hope that any day now, it will start weighing me as I know I'm close to that figure but right now it just says "Err" when I step on it!!   I guess that's my next goal - "get down to a weight where my scale no longer says 'Err'!!"  LOL!!
