Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 86 pounds!!! Good luckraiderette21 20 years, 1 month ago

Maria, Best of luck on your big day! Dr. Ren and her staff are amazing! The are so professional but yet so caring. She is definately the right choice for a surgeon. Dr. Bowden is superb too! Of course - Dr. Ren wouldn't settle for anything less. I had my surgery on 2/26 and feel great with just the minor aches and pains. Just follow their orders and you should do fine.betsyt 20 years, 2 months ago

Your journey is almost here! I'm sure you are excited and scared all at the same time. It's okay though. It was the best thing I could have done for myself and my family and I am sure you will find the same thing as well. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. Good luck and God Bless!!!Teresa M. 20 years, 2 months ago
