 hey everyone i know its been awhile since i've been here but, i'm doing pretty good i have blew by goal weight which was 150 pounds i am now down to 137 pounds. im feeling ok. i went to so many amusement parks an d i got to ride everything and didn't have to worry if i was going to fit.
but, now i am having problems keeping food in me the doctor has me schudule for test this coming wedneday. so hope all

hi everyone, just wanted to report my latest visit to the doctors. i went on monday and i lost another 15 pounds for a total of 40 pounds since my surgery. i go back in june she said i need to lose at least another 30-40 pounds before i can see the plastics to get the hernia taken care of. i excited 
about my next visit i know i will be able to it. untill next time everyone have a 
blessed easter.

hi everyone, well i went back to my doctors and i lost a total of 26 pounds 
in six weeks. i was a little upset at first because i felt i should of lost a little more than that but after talking to dr. mccloskey she said no that was good for six weeks. i'm not aloud to do the exercise like i want to i'm only aloud to 
do walking and exercise bike for now because of the hernia. its really killing 
my back and everything else to more i'm up the more i hurt. but she said i can proably see plastics in about 3-6 months looking forward to that.

well  hi everyone, 
   going in for my 6 week  check up after my surgery, going to see how much 
weight i lost. i'm excited about it, i made it through the liquids and almost 
done with the pureed  i  can't wait to  have some so called normal food. 
this has been the longest six weeks ever. ok i be back later and let you all 
know how everything went at the doctors.

i had my surgery on the 17 of December, the surgery took 9 hours 
instead of the 4-6 hours. there was complications the hernia pushed 
my bowels against my stomach which caused them to connect. dr. mccloskey tried to do the scope and when she placed it she seen my bowels were turning blue and had alot of adhesions to take off. she had to 
end up doing the procedure open. i was in the hospital for five days. 
but, i thank God he gave me a terrific doctor. 
i made it through everything fine and i'm doing as good as can be expected.
i am now on pureed food for the next four weeks.  

today is december 13 i am going in for surgery for the gastric bypass on monday the 17. i am very scared and nervous but i al also excited about it 
i was talking to bob in the chat room made me feel a little better. about it
my husband and children are here to support me thru this the closer it gets tho the more nervous i am. but everyone tellls me this is normal i hope so. 

im going to have the gastric bypass surgery on the 17 of december,
i am a little nervous about it. i had the lap-band done on december 05
it quit working for me because of the hernia and they can't do it untill i lose 75-80 more pounds.
