So I started back at the gym yesterday after a 3-4 month leave. The Dr wants me to lose 20-30 lbs before the surgery in December. I walked a mile at zero incline and did a light leg work out. I will go back tonight after work ( work till 9 :(...) i will walk another mile and then do some light chest and shoulders....
I could easily do more ,but I'm just getting my muscles used to the movement again after the 4 month hiatus, we all know what happens when we are too sore, its the best excuse not to go back for a few days,...lol...so starting a little slow this week.....
I'm going to Disney the week of Thanksgiving so that's going to be tough. I figure i can hit the gym at the hotel in the morning and then chasing around a 2 yr old and 4 nephews and a niece should help burn the calories while I'm there...(hopefully)> I'm still waiting on my actual date, but the Doc said probably the first week in December, and Thanksgiving is pretty late in the month this year. So it would be back to back....
