Best wishes for a successful surgery and a problem free recovery. I am one of the "oldies" of wls. My husband and I BOTH has wls in 2001 and we have lost a combined total of 270 lbs, we both have about 50 lbs more to go each.

This is Michelle's Momma Angel and boy am I scared. Our surgery went so well maybe her's will also. Her dad and I are flying in to be with her and we will be keeping a watchful eye on the nursing staff. We know exactly what needs to be done. She is scheduled for May 6, at Danbury Hospital. Nurses watch out momma's coming.

I had open RNY with Dr. Zuccala on 1/8/02 and if I can answer any questions for you feel free to email me. Your mom emailed me once a while ago to ask some questions for you I think. They (Dr Z's office)don't have a support group going yet but I have been keeping in touch with some of his patients and will offer any support I can. Good luck. Patty

Hey GF, It's the woman you met during your first consultation - Dawn! I read your posts - you put me to shame. I really have not done all of this, just hanging back and waiting I guess. I love to get together sometime - especially since we live so close. Give me a call or send me an update. Dawn
