Well, here goes nothin! I started my 2 week liquid diet today with my surgery date scheduled for December 3rd! I have followed posts on the site for a year now so that I could kinda get an idea of what to expect along this journey and now my time has finally come! I am so eager to get this ball rollin' to a healthier and happier future and hopefully with support and encouragement from the bench I will achieve that! Wish me luck and I will continue to read and post!

I'm new here and couldn't be more excited! I've followed this site a year now with hopes of having the VSG and not the time has come! My surgery is scheduled for December 3rd, which is in two weeks and I am absolutely thrilled! I look forward to reading and sharing along this jourey, I know it's a complete lifestyle change and I am totally up for it. My two week liquid diet started today and so far I have tolerated it pretty well but I know I'm going to need words of encouragement the next few days when it really settles in.
