My name is Michele, I am 39 years old and I had an adjustable lap band procedure done on 10/17/06. I have been overweight most of my adult life and finally decided to stop all the yo-yo diets and get serious about my health. I made the decision to go through with the surgery in August and did all of the "leg work" to get approved and it didn't take long...it was about 2 months from decision day to surgery day....
