Optifast Assistance Please

Hello everyone. This is my first post. Firstly I'd like to say thank you to all who post on this forum. It's been very informative and helpful.

My surgery is scheduled for January 30th at HRH so today I started Optifast. Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to make this stuff taste better? So far today I have had one chocolate and one vanilla flavored. I find that there is a horrible aftertaste when I drink these and it's making me gag. The only way I can get this down now is to plug my nose, take some gulps and follow it up with coffee.
