I am 31 years old. I am married to my husband Mike and have been since 2000. We have 3 children, Noah is 4, Chase is 1 and Brayden would be 2 but he passed away from SIDS in 2008.
Brayden dying has given me the strength needed to face my weight and do something about it. In my mind I had been through the hardest thing in my life, so this was something I think I needed to do.
I've been over weight all of my life. It's gotten worse the older I've gotten. Before surgery I was a carb freak. Loved pasta, ice cream and chinese food. After surgery, that had to change. I'm thankful for Dr. Winterstein because I feel he saved my life and made sure I am here for my boys.
