The beginning

Today's the day. On my way to hospital, surgery is roughly two hours and ten minutes away. Am I nervous and excited, certainly. Everyone I've talked to has praised the procedure but there's still the unknown. Will it and I both be a success?  On the funnier side, I've never been to the hospital without being discharged with an infant. I hope this is it...this is the permanent weight loss I've wanted for 20 years because my family and I deserve it. I have a high tolerance for pain so I hope it does the trick today!
