The information given to you talks about all the options in surgery. The amount of paperwork I had to read and sign was almost as bad a closing a real estate deal. (You have to lose 10% of your body weight before they will schedule your surgery). After submitting to insurance I was at first denied. The NUT and PSYC provide lots of no cost training and support. They stress the importance of aftercare to be successful. rnrnCurrently, Dr. Johnell is the only barriactric surgeon in Colorado using the DiVinci robotic assisted surgery method. This is the leading edge technology for laproscopic procedures. Doctors using say it provides the best 3-D perspective of the organs, better than with an open procedure. It also allows greater dextarity to the surgeon than those with the conventional laprascopy. rnrnI highly recommend this surgeon and his staff to anyone looking into WLS.
