Well Im 21 years old and I have been overweight all my life. I am the only one in my whole family who is obese. So they really have a hard time understanding what its like. My parents suggested surgery and i was totally put off by it. I always said that I would never let being overweight stop me from achieving my goals, and i never did. Until now at 346 I have realized how I have let my weight deprive me of a life and I want to reclaim it while I still can. I did alot or research and decided that surgery was the best thing for me. My parents are paying for it and im so grateful. the whole process took less that a month its would have been less but I have a horrible schedule. I had my pre op nov 29, my psych eval dec 4 and surgery dec 11. I have been pretty scared as i have never had a surgery Ever!!! but after talking to one of the bariatric nurses who also had the surgery I feel so at ease and so sure that this is the best thing for me. I cant wait!!
