"He had given a seminar here in Albuquerque that I had gone too and previous patients spoke highly of him. I finally got to meet him July 11th and he's very serious. I feel confident that he will be a good surgeon but I just wish the bedside manner was a little bit lighter. My husband and I are both kind of jokesters and appreciate a good sense of humor. Maybe it was because he had three other people waiting for him and he was rushed. As for the office staff, boy, I hope they get it together. None of them really laugh or smile although I did get the nurse, Debbie, smiling and laughing. I won't see Dr. Lara again until the day before surgery which will probably be another 6 months if the insurance company plays nice! :o)"
