Psch evaluation 3

I had my psych eval on 11/8/07. Nice lady she gave me her card(WHAT"S THAT MEAN???)  I think I did fine. Not as bad as I thought.  I heard you had to take a long questionaire, mine was not like that, I had to answer a few questions,thats all, and then we just talked. She asked me questions like if you were in a building and it was on fire what would you do. I said
PUT IT OUT? She looked at me like I was crazy.Than I asked Well do you mean a big fire or a little fire? She said a Big fire. I then said Oh then I would probably find an EXIT.    She replied much better answer. 
     This is probably why she gave me her card

07   I met w my doctor today he had put me on the southbeach diet for 4 weeks. I lost 10lbs of which 8lbs was bodyfat,I was happy with that. Gave me my surgery date of 1/14/07. I felt very comfortable with him,he is very nice. I just have to get through the holidays and at the same time lose another 6 lbs. The insurance company I have makes you lose 5% of your weight before you get authorization. I have to go back January 8th 2008 for my final weigh in and then one week from that date I have surgery. He didn't tell me to do a liquid diet two weeks prior, I'm not sure why. Maybe I'll only have to do it 1 week.

Jan 7th My Surgery was APPROVED!!!!


Jan 8th  Had an appointment for pre surgery and final weighn in I lost another 7lbs ------total so far is 17lbs lost 12 lbs of bodyfat! Gong through the holidays I was really lovin that. Surgery is set for Mon Jan 14th, I'll let you know how it goes.

   I had my surgery, all went well. I was in anesthiesa room and the dr told me he was going to give me a cocktail of drugs, I closed my eyes what seemed like a few seconds and then opened them asked the nurse when we were going in she said Molly your done!!!!!! I had a little back pain they gave me some pain meds but surgery itself was nothing. Went back to my room slept had pain meds slept. Was in a little pain when I first got up to walk. As long as you get your pain meds every 4 hours you'll be fine.Went home next day, had no hunger. I don't think I have any restriction fluid are going down normal. Have post op app w/ my Dr Tuesday the 22nd.liquid diet has not been that bad, they sent me home with liquid loritab which is good stuff. I'm feeling better everyday a little sore but up and around. It couldn't have gone any better as far as I'm concerned. The nurses and drs at Buffalo General were great.

    Well since my surgery I have had zero restriction,I'm struggling to lose this weight. I'm stuck, scales not moving went for my 6 week post op appointment and was up 2 lbs!!!!
My Dr gave me a small fill 1cc in 10cc aps band. He told me to call him in 2 weeks if I don't feel a difference, I'll definitely be a callin. I know this takes time and the real wt lost doesn't occur until you have had fills and proper restriction, I know that.I'm gonna pick up my exercise and see how it goes.

 03/14/09   Well its been over year and ive lost total 62 lbs feeling good no problems.

05/20/09  I havent had to have a fill for 6 months started leveling off w my weight loss time for a fill went and got one Dr gave me 1.3cc w I thought was too much went home couldnt get anything down he overfilled me went back had some taken out went 2 week feeling better but still tooo tight. Went back had an UGI found out I had stomach dilitation from being too tight word of worning if you are vomiting not able to get food down well you are too tight dont wait to get an unfill like I did. If food is sitting in your pouch too long it stretches pouch and it dilated
had a complete unfill and on liquids for two weeks will get another UGI if all looks better start w fills in couple of weeks.My dr said I had a mild dilitation not a slip and said this should fix the problem next time I will speak up if I think hes giving too much he must have read the chart wrong I dont know but this puuts me back a little but am confident it is a temporary setback. Dont get too tight thats when you have problems.I have lost 12 lbs just have to watch it I dont want to gain any weight while I'm completely unfilled cranking up my exercise taking a spin class that should do it.
