The 5th of May will be 2 months out for me and I've lost about 35 lbs and feeling great. Walking almost everyday, around my house or at Disneyland!! I've dropped several sizes and a ton of inches. So happy I made the choice to have surgery!!

IM 2 WEEKS OUT OF SURGERY....I WAS LOSING LIKE 2 LBS A DAY...THEN I HIT 18 LBS LOST AND NOW I HAVE BEEN SITTING AT 18 LBS FOR 2 DAYS...WHAT HAPPEN?????????

Well I am approved and scheduled for March 5th....i will be having the RNY. So excited and cant wait.

Anyone have some advice or tricks of the trade?? lol

so today is my first blog.....looking forward to making this a regular thing. Had a visit from my uncle today, he had RNY 2 weeks ago today....he looks awesome. He says he's lost 60 lbs total....almost 20 since his surgery date...wow!! I can't wait to have my surgery. I have 4 more classes to complete my Kaiser 12 weeks classes. I hear they are scheduling people about two weeks out of class for surgery. My husband finished his classes on Monday...he's just waiting for the call. We live in Orange County....I think our options for hospital locations are San Diego-Pacific Bariatric, LA, Riverside, and Fountain Valley. I'm leaning towards Fountain Valley for mine...I have a two year old daughter and my mom will be taking care of her...that's a lot of work for my 60 year old mother....so I figure if I stay close in Fountain Valley she can come visit and maybe that will break up my stay and her time alone with my energetic 2 year old...lol anyone been to the Fountain Valley location??
