Wow life has changed.... I have lost 122 lbs.....went from a size 26 to a 12 I feel great.....still have problems eating much, but doing better every day.

THANK GOD FOR THIS PROCEDURE....MY SURGEON.....MY FAMILY AND THIS WEBSITE ALL FOR SEEING ME THRU THIS.

LIFE IS GOOD :-)

ok yesterday was the big 6 month surgeversary.....down 97 lbs.....looking and feeling great I have gone from a size 26 to anywhere from a 12 to 16 I honestly never thought I would reach those sizes, didnt think I would look right, id be way to skinny LOL.....I look just fine.  I cant believe how fast the weight came off, in only 6 months I thought it would be closer to a year before I lost this much, not sure what my "goal" is but thinking I am about there.

I am 6 months out tomorrow, I cant eat meat it still makes me sick, not able to eat too much of anything but meat is really a no no for me, wondering if I will ever be able to eat it.   I was a vegetarian as a teen, so Im not heart broken but still would like to enjoy a nice steak or something

I havent been coming on here very often so I thought I should get back into it and start with an update....I am almost 4 months out the battery on my scale died last week (probably from over use) LOL...but I have lost over 70 lbs....so grateful and feeling good about that part....I am still not able to eat too much, I end up getting sick and throwing up most of what I do eat....last week I had a upper GI... the dr doesnt think I have a stricture but wants to see what is going on...my next appt isnt until late next month who knows, I may be eating too fast coupled with a life long sensitive stomach...

I am only working part time but I think its way too soon, I had my surgery 3/9......feeling pooped!!!!!!!!!!!  Maybe its normal..?

Also already getting bored with my "menu" options....I need some flavor any ideas???

Cant say it was the easiest thing I have ever been thru.....I had a bad time coming out of anistesia....expecially with pain....I must be a sissy...my mom at the same period after her surgery was up making phone calls I was rolling around the bed moaning and groaning.......that was hours after the surgery.

I am home now....back at it doing dishes, caring for my toddler......I am in some pain but they sent me home with some liquid codiene that does the job....I get tired alot probably cause I dont rest but all in all I AM SO GLAD to have gotten thru this part and be beginning my weightloss journey excersice and diet are my focus now.....well and sleep.

Thanks to everyone for all the support I am going to go lay down but will check in again tommorrow.

YEAH I DID IT

I am feeling totally overwhelmed cant concentrate....people are talking to me I hear them but cant tell you what they have just said.....I need to chill.....oh yeah all I want to do is EAT!!!!!!  Doing my best not to freak.

I feel like I am on a roller coaster.....going from calm and ready to almost freaking out and thinking I dont want to do this....of course I do want it more than anything........I am worried about getting enough protien after surgery and eating/drinking the right things I have been studying my binder of nutritional information.....at this point I just wish the surgery was over already.

Havent quite figured out why I have been dragging my feet so on this but I finally got started only a day late  So far not so bad I guess like many things; the worst part is thinking/worrying about it.

I just spoke with Ann my coordinator....everything is in and a go.....surgery is March 9th @ 9:45AM.......18 days and counting!!!  Officially excited....this is real
