Hi I am new to this site...I'm 31, married mom of 3, working full time and living in NJ. I have had a weight problem all of my life, but it had totally spiraled out of control once I moved out of my parents house and could eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Also multiple surgeries in the past few years have made it difficult to lose weight and then a back injury last year has totally hindered my ability to do any kind of exercise. I see my bariatric surgeon next week and hopefully will be having the VSG within the next couple of months. Now that I am older, I'm finding that my health is beginning to deteriorate rather quickly. I'm at the point now that I fear if I do not get the surgery done soon, that I will not be around to see my children graduate.
