Pending Insurance Authorization

So today I heard from my surgeon's office that they were waiting for a "Letter of Support" that they had faxed over to my PCP's office. I decided to call my PCP's office and speed up the process, which ended up working in my favor because they apparently had the wrong fax number to my surgeon's office. Once I gave them the correct fax number they said they would fax it over immediately and my surgeon's office should receive in about 10 minutes. So basically, all my documents will be submitted to my insurance today and my surgeon's office said they should hear something by Tuesday! I'm so excited!I can't believe that the time is almost here. I have one appointment left - my Pre Admission with the hospital where I will be having my surgery. That's next Wednesday at 1pm. I will definitely be updating when I hear back about my insurance authorization as well as after my last appointment.
