HELLO OH!!!  I am proud to say that my story isn't ALL sad.. In my life before WLS I did pretty much all i wanted to do.. I traveled and visited some of the most BEAUTIFUL countries in the world, I've had a great Job and a promising career, I have fantastic friends(even if i was the fattest.. LoL) I have supportive family, I've been a BEAUTIFUL BLUSHING bride and I'm still a wife.. OH, my biggest problem was my health.. I was out of work and away from my family and closest friends because i was in the hospital more time than i would like due to my health being poor before my WLS!  I started this journey at my highest weight of 371lbs.. I walked into the first consultation with my husband and my brother and i didn't turn back.. Through all the horror stories and people telling me i was going to die on the table, i prayed and asked GOD for strength and endurance and on 9/14/2010 the sick Monique Kelly took her last breath. On the day of surgery i weighed in at 337lbs, i had lost 34lbs the old fashioned way because i didn't want to be turned away by my surgeon. It was tough, i had a many of hard days, but it was so worth it.. I've lost 105lbs since my surgery date and 139lbs since i first started. I'm also proud to say that since 9/17/2010 when i left the hospital after surgery was the last day i've seen a hospital to be admitted.. I'm off of all of my Diabetes and High Blood Pressure meds, and i feel Wonderful, i still have 57lbs to lose to reach my goal weight but i'm only 5months out and have full confidence that i can do it.. Thanks for reading my story and i hope that in reading this it gives you some hope if you are considering WLS, just had WLS or trying to remember why you had WLS!

**WIth Much Love OH family***
