My name's Mark. I'm 37 and have been fat my whole life. When I was younger, I never let being a big person stop me from anything. I was in the Army and was fat then too...lol. However, as I got older, and my weight has gotten higher, things are starting to be not so fun. High Blood Pressure, Sleep Apnea and other stuff makes my life miserable. I'm looking to have the Duodenal Switch (DS) surgery sometime in Dec. of this year. I'm lucky in that I have a really supportive lady in my life (Hi, Angela!) and a positive outlook. I want to be further supported and to help support others by being a part of this community.
