My name is Michelle. I'm 34 years old, a wife and mother to 3. I enjoy spending time with my kids, but over the years have been limited to the activities I'm able to do with them because of my health and being overweight. I have very high uncontrollable high blood pressure and severe asthma. Being overweight has only made those two things worse. I noticed about a year ago that my kids have been very concerned about Death. They talk about it friends that have lost parents, family members that have passed away and even though they never talk about me dying, I know its on their minds, everytime I have to go into the hosptial for my ashtma or my blood pressure. My children are too young to grow up without me, especially if I can do something to help my situation out, so I decided WLS was something I definately needed to do. So here I am, insurance approved me November 7, 2008 and my surgery date has been scheduled for December 10, 2008. I am so ready to begin this new journey, not only for me, but for my family as well.
