"Surgeon_Comments First Surgeon- Dr. Padiath A. Aslam (Augusta, ME) 1/31/01- I contacted Dr. Aslam's office and spoke with his nurse JC. She was very nice and helpful. She answered all of my questions. I have a consult on March 1, 2001. Enough about that!!! My new Surgeon is Dr. Pomp from New York City. I talked to many people in the office, from the Nurse to the billing people and they went out of their way to help me in this difficult situation. "I was very happy with the Dr. 's at the hospital, I was less than pleased with the nurses. I totally ran out of medication 2 times. I was the worst pain in my life. I am talking ran out for 45 min out!!!!! There was also this awful nurses aid. He had to draw blood a could of times and was so bad, he rubbed my hand with 4 alchol wipes and never wiped it off. Boy did it sting!!! Than he missed 4 times and I honestly thing the janitor could have done better. However there was this other nurses aid that was a life saver. He was great!!! I don't think I could have made it with out him...."
