My name is Nikki and i have been married to Mark ( the best husband ever) for 4 yrs. I have been overweight since kindergarten but it got way out of hand when i was put on steroids (prednisone) after a stay in the hospital. I was diagnosed with colitis at the age of seventeen, and recently with pancolitis in august 2009. For those of you who don't know, colitis is an inflammation of the colon where the colon develops polyps or mountains that get irritated and it can affect just the sigmoid colon or the entire colon from the small intestines, when it becomes pancolitis. But anyway i was told weight loss surgery would make the symptoms better and i have been wanting it since they first came out with gastric bypass. Ready to have the life i always wanted but could never achieve.
