So, my husband and I went to the local bar to hang out and have some nice drinks tonight.  The bar has this really cool setting where they can open these glass "garage doors" and you can sit at the bar outside.  It was sooo nice to enjoy the fresh air right on the river.  Mind you, Monday we had a half foot of heavy wet snow and work was cancelled.  It's hard to believe that in the span of five days it's 70 degrees out!! Yippee!
You know what that means.....it's almost kayak season!!! I love me some paddlin'!
My hubby and I are going to get our new vinyl fencing tomorrow.  I know...it's very exciting. (Anyone reading my posts must think I'm all about house stuff, but it's not true) Yippee...a privacy fence around the pool.  I just ordered my first bikini....hey, it's a privacy fence..no one's going to see me. :)  Tomorrow we're also going to pick up my MOTORCYCLE!!! I cannot wait!  This has been one of my goals...to get my own bike and tomorrow we're picking it up!  Hooray!!!

I hope everyone else is as excited about spring as I am!!!  Soon...summer'll be here before we know it!

Tonight I was sitting here at the computer looking at house plans. Yes, I know that's extremely interesting so just get over it already.....
So, here I am looking at these plans and thinking about my future.  We own our home now and are considering building a brand new home on a bazillion acres in about 10 years after our mortgage is paid off.  I often ask myself when I became an adult?  I only just turned 29 in January (29 and holding, I might add).....I know it's only a number and not a really big one at that but my gosh, when did I become an adult?  When did the time of getting an older friend to buy you beer or cigarettes pass?  When did I stop chatting til all hours of the night with my BFF's on phone?  I have long given up those days for a sensible bedtime (quickly approaching at 9 pm) and comfortable shoes.  This is both comforting and disturbing.

So, I am pondering house plans and which one will be the right one for when we're retired and cannot make it up a flight of stairs.  Our current home has spiral stairs and I don't think we'll be climbing them when we're 80.  Now I'm looking for a reasonable ranch with plenty of closets for our golden years.    Sheesh........

Well, I guess tomorrow night I'll check on retirement plans and maybe check out some gray hair color cover up....hey, it's never too early to plan ahead! :-)

Well, I've finally come around to utilizing my band.  It took me over a year to get into the swing of things.  I have always just thought things would work out without effort.....stupid me.  Now I know that I have to do for myself...if that makes sense. 

I'm following a proper band diet and feeling great!  My husband is even losing weight! 

So, at this point, life is good.  I'm back to losing weight and am pretty happy.  I can't wait to be thin! :)
