Hello! My name is Megan. I am 32 years old, married with 1 daughter. I never said I wouldn't have the surgery, but I always had excuses as to why it was not a good time. In March of 2016, I saw some pictures of myself from a family party, and decided that it was finally time to put myself first. I scheduled my first appointment and began my 7 month journey. My insurance required 7 consecutive months of doctor visits, plus a few medical tests, but on October 28 I had my final visit and started my 2 week liquid stage on November 8. My surgery was November 22, 2016. I am just about 2 weeks post op. I am feeling well and looking forward to my new healthy life! I have not set a long term goal weight yet, but I would like to do 25lb increment goals. Goal #1 - 224lbs; Goal #2 - 199lbs; Goal #3 - 174lbs; Goal #4 - 149lbs....
