I got banded today by Dr. R Rivera. The procedure went well. While in PACU I didn't feel so wonderful. Felt dizzy and nausea. Nurses were so nice and made me very comfortable. After I recieved pain meds and a med for nausea I started feeling better. I was in PACU for about an hour then I went to get an x-ray. Drinking the barium was difficult and standing for the x-ray made me feel weak. But I ot thru it and then went to step down unit for about an hour then I got to go home.
Felt discomfort at home but was happy to get in my own bed. Walkin is key for those lovely gas pains you get. Ive been trying to walk every hour if only for alittle bit.
6/22 2 days post op feeling better. Still having slight discomfort and wondering when the gas will clear. Not hungry, drinking my liquids and trying to get enough protein
