Well gained a few pounds back up to 148 so I now have 8 lbs to go.  Im still really happy with my progress.  I have decided for lent to give up all sugar in all forms.  I think this has been my stumbling block and I am now giving it up completly. 

Well I truly believe that I will see my goal weight.  I doubted it for a while but I feel rejuvinated and will start today to work harder towards my goal.  It is so easy to listen to others and go with the group that to do what I need in my heart to do.  I am at 151 lbs down from 278 my original goal was 150 but now that I am almost here I realize that 140 would be better.  I am actually going for 137 because with my height of only 5'2" that will put me out of the overweight catagory.   Everyone keeps saying you look great why bother loosing any more!  Well i didnt have the surgery to do things halfway.  So I am dedicated to finishing this journey!

I am all in all very pleased with my weight loss journey!  I have been very fortunate that I have not had any depression. I am 8 lbs from my goal of 150lbs.  Maybe when I reach it Ill go for another 10 lbs.  I have no regrets other that the days I over ate and suffered from that but that is my own fault I hope I can learn from it. 

Im so frustrated and I know I shouldnt be but Im so close to my goal and Im stuck!  Im down 1.5 lbs since Jan 19th but man I want this last 16lbs gone!!  I just needed to vent! I am thankful though.

Well I have lost 112lbs I cant believe it.  My surgeon said that I would probably only loose 80 lbs but I showed him!  Anyways I have 28 more to go to my goal I am so blessed!

I cant believe that I am 1 lb from loosing 100 lbs.  It is really very overwhelming that I had that much to loose!  I get really sad sometimes that I let my self get that bad off and to think that I still have 40 to go.  But what a blessing that I only have 40 to go! 

Well I guess I should start at the beginning.  I have been a very unhappy fat person for a long time.  I gained 50 plus pounds both pregnancys and did not loose a pound of that and then had post partum depression (I cant understand why)  Anyways I had a doctor tell me one time that he would get a second mortgage on his house if he was that obese.  Well that hit home and I mulled it over for a  year and decided to go for it, no I didnt get a second mortgage on my home I went with care credit.  The credit was incredible easy to get and I had no problems.  I had lap band surgery and I have never regreted it, not even when I hurt or throw up from eating too much I am so happy I cant believe it.  I weighed 280lbs when I had the surgery and as of today I weigh 202 I so cant wait to see 199!  Anyways I have had no complications except maybe a few plateaus that have been fixed by getting off my butt and exercising!  Anyways I suggest to anyone thinking of this surgery to go for it!  The results in my body and attitude have been miraculous!  Thank you God for a safe journey so far and Dr. Gibbs for doing a great job.
