OKAY, THE PAST MONTH HAS BEEN HELL.. I WITHDREW FROM SCHOOL THREE WEEKS BEFORE GRADUATION.  MY MIND HAS BEEN SO FOGGY ALL SEMESTER, AND I HAVE BEEN SOOO TIRED. JUST REALLY HARD TO CONCENTRATE.   I AM SOME TIME BEFORE JANUARY CLASSES TO GET MYSELF IN GEAR.  MY WT LOSS HAS SLOWED TREMENDOUSLY.  I HAVE REALLY BEEN MESSING UP BY SNACKING.  EVEN THOUGH HEALTHY, I AM STILL SNACKING.  NOT GETTING MY PROTIEN EITHER.  TODAY IS A NEW DAY, AND IN ORDER FOR ME TO SUCCEED IN NURSING SCHOOL I MUST GET MYSELF RIGHT IN THE NEXT MONTH.  LACKING THE WILL POWER.

nursing school is getting the best of me. i have zero time to do anything, especially post. i am getting really frustrated with my weight loss. its been a month and i have only lost ten pounds. whats up with that?  okay, so i am not drinking my water or eating my protien.  i really am not eating at all. i have got to do better. hard to focus b/c of nursing school. ready for it to be over and graduate.  five more weeks...

wow, its been awhile since i posted.....well weight loss to date is 30lbs.  i feel soooo good...the only problems i am having is eating too fast.  i feel like my food gets hung and then i get the foamies...its aweful.  i am getting most of my protein in and trying to get my h2o, but for some reason that is pretty difficult for me. 
classes started back and i am so ecstatic that this is my last semester of nursing school. i cant wait until december...
i got a wii fit this week and started using it. its great...well worth the money, it truly is a workout.  i am gonna post some pictures soon, camera is shot, gotta get  a new one. 
i am loving my new life. everything seems to be going up, up, up for me. (and my wt is going down, down, down). and let me add, i cant wait till i can eat SUSHI......

Okay, so the first week was hell.  I hated the clear liquids, but was a trooper however, i had a hard time meeting my protein requirments most days, but did ok with the water intake.  Had some discomfort in the belly most of the week, but everyday it gets much better so long as I dont turn a funny way and use caution when going from sitting to standing.  First post op appt was Thursday. Went very well....I have lost 14 lbs. I started full liquids today. Doc Houston said I only had to do full liquids for 4-5 days then to start blened.

Okay, so surgery went really well.  I did not have to have drains, or a central line and I only lost 50 cc of blood. YAHOO>
The only concern was that my oxygen levels would not come up and my
heart rate stayed kinda high. 
I went home after two nites.  I did very well. Hospital staff was awesome, kuddos to Centenial in Nashville.
My only complaints now is the pain and discomfort...Cant wait till the pain is gone......

I am really starting to get nervous...My surgery is next week and i am so worried. Not really sure its one thing in particular. Just nervous.

Okay so my new journey begins.
I got my date yesterday and my new life begins on July 29th.  Holy moley, I am terrrified, excited, and nervous all in one.  Everyday from here on out is going to be a new day.

Just got the call from surgeons office...Humana rocks..got my approval the day after request was submitted.  I cant schedule yet b/c surgeon's office is on vacation.  Holy cow..

okay, i have another phase accomplished...just got notification that everything has been submitted to Humana..Now its the insurance waiting game..I am fortunate that I work for a large hospital and luckily, if the insurance approves my WLS the only thing I will be out of pocket is my deductible of 250..  I cant wait.........If I am really ment to have this surgery, then I feel the insurance will okay it...YEAH>>>>>>>>>>>
