So, I had my surgery on 10.22.09.  I spent 2 nights and 3 days in the hospital.  I bounced back VERY well!  The doctor's and nurse's were very impressed.  They couldn't believe how much I was up and moving.  I didn't use any pain meds after surgery.  I wasn't in any pain.  All i felt was pressure.  On my last day in the hospital, i was sitting on my bed with my legs crossed and leaning over on my pillows playing a game on my blackberry.  The team of Dr. Urbandt and 2 other intern doctors came in and I sat up and sat indian style.  Dr. Urbandt looks at me and says "when is your surgery?"  he couldn't believe how well i was doing.  I feel great and if I had to do it all again tomorrow I would.  :)  Today is my first full day home since surgery.  I'll be going to sunday school and church and then going for a walk around the neighborhood.  I can't wait to actually get out of the house cause I feel so stuffy!  I've been inside a building for 4 days now and I'm just not used to not being out and about.  :)
