My name is Mary, I have been overweight since I was in first grade according to my school pictures. I come from a long history of obese family members and wrong eating habits. I have entertained the idea of gastric bypass multiple times and went to several different physicians seminars. It was not until this year that I finally decided this was right for me. I have 4 sons, 19, 16, 13 and 7. I have been married to a wonderful man for 20 years, my high school sweetheart and he is loves me unconditionally. I work in a physician's office and our patients are kidney disease and dialysis. There main reasons for dialysis stem from uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes and obesity. I have to make a change, I want to have more energy, be more active, and feel sexy again. My surgery is Friday, I am overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions, wish me luck!!!
