Hello OH Family! It has been awhile! I am currently weighing at 172 lbs. I gained about 5 lbs over the last year :( Last sunday i weighed 167 and today i weigh 172 i hate it!  I got my gallbladder taken out on 8/1/12 and recently found out that I have to undergoe another procedure tommorow. I am still working on getting to reach my goal of 150 by 8/1/12. I have lost my focus a lil but I will get back on track and finally get to my goal. I think im just going to cut all my carbs like i did before. I'm going to get there ..

hello just  wanted to know that first time in like 10 years i have a 1 in front of my weight!   Yes, i am 199.6 ! I'm so excited . just  50 to get to my ideal weight.

hello OH family! Just wanted to give you all an update I lost 2 pounds this past week and I am weighing at 206.4! So i just may make it too my first goal of 199 by 08/01/10!!!

good afternoon OH community... let me just say this is the only time I have blogged in my life (like on a somewhat consistent basis) lol.

anyways speed dating was fun, I kinda felt like i had to compete with my two friends- one is like a size 2 but honestly i did feel better about what i was bringing to the table.  i can't wait to do it again.

OK so i had a bad habit, i weigh my self def more than i should. I'm talking like 3 times a day 4 times a week. its like an obsession. does anyone struggle with this as well? before the surgery i didn't really care and to be honest, i didn't wan to see the truth so i avoided it. can you guys give me some suggestions please and thank you.... joce

so everyone i just got back from speed dating... it was very INTERESTING!! Since I have lost some weight I felt a little more comfortable wit what i was bringing to the table. My two girlfriends accompanied me this evening, so i had some support. I met an interesting guy but of course he gave his number to both of my friends. I am not upset, it's just something that I am used to.  However, I am proud that I went and I made a good effort to let my confidence shine through. I think they picked up on that. all in all, it was a great experience! I can't wait to go to the next one.

on another note.... although i weighed in yesterday i just felt different so i had to get on the scale... i lost another pound! 11 more and i will be under 200!

hello everyone! today is my  24th b-day!! didnt really do much but i am proud to say that i didnt go back to my old ways of celebrating which was going out somewhere to eat and consuming like 2000 calories...  i am very proud of myself!

got on the scale today lost 1lb...yay ! oh i cut my hair - just  a lil bit

on another note... a few girl friends and i registered for a speed dating with single soilders! its tommorow at 7. the only thing is that there can only be 40 men and 40 women, i hope i made the cut lol. i'll let yall know how it turned out .... good night 0H.

i have been working my but off and for some reason i gained 2 pounds! i know they say muscle weighs more than fat but, you kinda of get discouraged when you see the scale move back up. oh well. i am happy to say that after reaching a little plateau for 2 WEEKS, i lost 7 this past week yay!

On another note...  What do you guys think about dating ? I mean is it ok to start looking now or should i wait unitl I have lost all the weight? I am almost down 60 lbs (3 months out) and I already notice the way men treat me now as opposed to before.  It saddens me to think that in order to find my true love I have to be THIN!. Don't  get me wrong, i didnt do the surgery to find a man, i did it to enhance my quality of life. Hey, if one comes along that is fine by me.  I'm going out this weekend for my b-day (4-1-10) and I hope that I can let my new found confidence show and maybe meet some new guys! Wish me luck!
