I've always been heavier than others but never really considered my self fat until 8 years ago. I went through the six month process of seeing a weight loss doctor, psyc and nutritionist. After completion, i was shortly approved and given a surgery date. In the beginning, I wanted to have the lap band because i wanted a speedy recovery. After attending meetings and seeing people that had gastric bypass, i quickly changed my mind.
