Well, by the 27th, it was obvious to me that UHC had filed my paperwork in the trash. So, I asked Jennifer to re-fax or mail or beat on them. She did re-fax the package and now UHC said that they "officially" received it on 31 Oct. Now they have 30 days to respond.

I called UHC two days ago and again today.  Got the royal run-around through their user dis-service. They have no record that they received the fax from the surgeon's office.  Figures.  I have the feeling that this is going to be a trend with them until I am no longer covered.

Called Jennifer at Dr. Maguire's office and she said that she sent in my paperwork to UHC on 17 Oct.  She says they have 30 days.  I can’t wait for the approval.

Last Thursday, my physician sent the last of my charts to the surgeon's office .  Now the fun begins.  UHC has 30 days to respond after it get submitted.  I will have to ride them if I expect to get this all done before 1 Jan.
