Staples out today

It's early morning, 4:00 am, and once again I find myself awake.....but at least this morning I don't feel all jiggly and nervous inside.  I'm almost normal today!  I've lost 14.5 pounds so far....yeah!  Hopefully today I'll get cleared for some real food, stage 2.....the protein drinks have been a real challenge.....and the ones I loved before surgery (chocolate) have become totally intolerable to me....hehehehe.....the vanilla has been a lifesaver.  I have found that I absolutely have to brush my teeth and tongue after every meal to prevent that awful after taste of the shakes....I've healed nicely, all my sites look great.  I've been walking about a 4 block round trip to the waterfront.....at least I live in a beautiful place to walk.  My sister has challenged me to walk and stay active......she's been my angel through this experience.  I feel like my experience has gone extremely well......still sore but never did I have unbearable pain......well, I'm going to shower and get ready to head out to my day.  Good luck to you out there on your journey!  God Bless!
