I was born and raised in Indiana. I moved to Florida in 2003. Almost everyone in my family struggles with weight and I am no exception. My health has been deteriorating over the last three and a half to four years. Now that I live in Florida there is so much more to do than just going to the mall. I started to explore WLS as a way to get healthy and to be able to enjoy things in life. I had my surgery on August 11, 2009. It all so different than I thought but I'm on my way.
