Happy TWO Year Anniversary to You! I hope that this post finds you healthy and happy. Please remember to drop by and update your profile from time to time. It's important for others to be able to see how we post-ops do on our journeys. You never know who you might inspire. Have a great day.

Hi Pat! I just wanted to touch bases with you after reading your message post. I, too, eat beef jerky (WLS 4/19/00) as my protein source. After reading your post I was amazed that our post-op lifestyle was exactly the same when it came to eating. I never shared the beef jerky infor because I was afraid a new post-op would try it too early after their surgery. I was wondering if you have tried Robertson's jerky. They have a website and they are out of OKLA. It is my favorite and you get 20 grams of protein for 1 ounce. I reached my weight goal of 145 lbs and have held it steady so far. Bye and nice chatting. Hi Pats, husband just called and said she made it through fine. And Julie thank you, I am so glad you called. I will be leaving for vacation tonight, so maybe you could jump in again and check on Pats progress. Love and hugs to all, Carin

Carin S. & other Amos members, I was wondering about Pat also, so I kind of jumped on your Angel wings, I hope you don't mind. I had surgery with Dr. Yates here in St. Louis, so I called his office & they told me which hospital she had her surgery. I called & she is doing fine. The surgery went well. She is currently in ICU, which we all know is normal, & is sleeping at the moment. Dr. Yates is a great surgeon, so I know she is in really good hands.

I am getting a little concerned , I have heard a word from the family of Pat Neal. Her surgery was at 6:00 A. M. this morning. I have been in an out getting the camper ready, but my grand kids are here to. And I have an answering machine. I don't see how we could have missed the call. Say prayers. Carin
