Well, I made the appointment to once again start this process. I am again going to the informational session. Mine was too long ago they said-Aug 2007 so I have to repeat it. Then I'll be allowed to make the appointment with the Dr. So on the 22nd of Feb, my journey starts.
I have to do this. In May, I have rotator cuff surgery to do from my car accident last July. I am finally telling my job to scratch themselves-it hurts and I am so tired of being in pain. I drive a school bus so it's not like my arm is still all day. So while I am recovering, I am hoping at 2 months out I can go in for the bypass.
Keep your fingers crossed that this all goes with my plans, or I'll have to wait for another summer to do this.

Ok, I can do this. It's my mantra for the time being. I want to lose some weight before Christmas. I may have to have surgery for my shoulder then. I had a car accident in July and have a partial tear in my rotator cuff. I had a cortisone shot 3 weeks ago-not much relief other than it calmed the muscles down. So I want to get some weight off before the surgery so I have less risk of complications. I just want my life back. I want to get on track to decide for sure if WLS if for me.
