MyJourney to Now- 13 days to surgery date

I started my journey in August 08 when I attended a seminar that Dr Lords Office had,  I thought initially that I would be interested the lap band but changed my mind after attending the seminar. 

After the seminar I went to my primary and started supervised diet.  It was Feb 09 when I was able to get my initial appt with Dr Lord.  I brought with me to the appt all the documentation needed for the preop diet my insurance required.  I then started jumping through more hoops - psch appt, nutrition appt, classes, etc.  Insurance was submitted -11 days later I called my insurance to ck on status and it was approved.

Time is flying by I have surgery on April 23.  I am very busy trying to get things done at home and work so things will go smoothly while I recover from surgery. 

I am excited and a little nervous.
