"I saw Dr. Cahill about a year and a half ago at a informational seminar. I was impressed by his direct yet compassionate manner. I had my consultation with him last week. We met for about 30 minutes. He was very informative.He answered all of my questions.
I was not sure what type of WLS I should have but I was leaning toward the adjustable lap band. He went through my information thoroughly and explained which surgery would work the best for me. He was very honest about the risks and pros and cons of each type. He emphasized the importance aftercare participation, support groups etc.
I had read in advance the stats on his surgeries and he gave me the updated stats on the surgeries he had performed and complication rate info as well as the type of complications. I would describe the over all experience as comfortable with Dr. Cahill. As with everyone who goes down this road I have had many reservations but I felt much more secure about my decision to have the surgery after my consultation."
