So.. confusing!! ahhhhHHHH! I did talk to the office manager at the family care clinic here and she said that my Doctor turned in an adendum! She had been trying to fax them and they werent going through! Wrong fax number! WTHeck?So she called my insurance and got ahold of a different care manager since mine was off today, got her fax to send them to her directly, so I called my insurance and talked to this care manager. She was still waiting on the fax to come through. Since the "request" expired today for my care manager... I think this one might take it over ... she said she could look at it see if she can take care of it or have it sent to her medical director.. I asked, if went by those "scenarios" if she could open up a new request.. what are we looking at for time for approval if it was everything that they required? She said that if she approves it... it could be just a few hours! If she had to turn it over to her medical director it could take about a week. wow! That is cutting it close!
So.. in the next .... hour to hour and a half, I am going to call her back... make sure she received everything that was needed.
