"I had my VSG with Dr V in 11/19/10 and it was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made. Dr V was there to answer all of my questions and to guide me through the entire surgical experience. Sheri, patient coordinator, was always there and on top of things and she made sure that my every need was met. Eric, our drivr, was always attentive and VERY patient and I thank him for that. My surgery was done in Cancun at Gallenia Hospital and it was quite a pleasant hospital experience. I liked the fact that when I hit the call bell someone actually was there within a minute and there was no voice over a loudspeaker asking me what I needed. The nurses were wonderful and everyone really works alongside the docs as a team. I would say that Dr V surgical competnece was excellent. His bedside manner was wonderful though I must admit he is a little shy at first. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Dr V and would highly recommend him to anyone considering WLS."
"The hospital was spotless at all times. The staff was amazing and so attentive that I worried that the other patients were not getting equal care. If I pressed the nurse call, the nurse was never longer than 2, yes 2 minutes coming into the room. Never did I get a voice over the intercom asking me to publicize my issue for all around the desk. The nurse was always right there at a moments notice"
