"Dr. Stone is a compassionate, knowledgeable professional. He explained the surgery in detail, and in terms I could understand (including hand-drawn pictures that will never grace a museum). I never once felt any fear about the outcome of the surgery with Dr. Stone at the helm. After the surgery, he visited me several times - one of the nurses remarked that she was impressed that a surgeon would stop by twice in one day to check on a patient! I discovered a surprising sense of humor hidden behind that professionalism and appreciate that he does not distance himself from his patients as some surgeons are wont to do -- no god complex here. My own GP doctor went to Dr. Stone for his surgery. I recommend Dr. Charles Stone and the entire TEAM:Bariatric to anyone looking for bariatric surgery of any kind. "
"I found the nurses on the 4th floor at Goshen General to be the finest I have ever encountered. They were positive, caring, sensitive, friendly and quick to fill any of my needs. I cannot possibly praise them enough. I was understandably scared and nervous about this life change, and they made the experience a positive and pleasant one. The labs were quick with testing and results, and the hospital volunteers were helpful and friendly in directing folks around the detours created by renovation. Because of the renovations, parking was a little sparse, but not impossible. Overall, I could not ask for a better surgical experience."
