Hey OH Fam. I am 3 wks out and I have no restriction. Ugh! I've been feeling this way for about a week now.  My first week I was good but gradually I began to get hungry and have cravings. So  if someone or anyone could hit me up and let me know where to go from here would be great. I haven't gained any yet but I'm afraid it's coming. Thanks TT4N!

Well 2day is day 3 post-op and I'm down 15 lbs. from a week ago... Yay! However, I don't think my heart medication and this liquid diet agrees... I am not hungry but I'm weak and sluggish.. My best friend says I'm dehydrated but I am drinking all that I can. I am tired of pooping (sorry guys) its crazy. So I am looking forward 2 the pureed diet.

What's up fam. I had my surgery yesterday and it wasn't too bad, I had worse surgeries.lol...I look like the shrinking violet, everyday I'm gettin thinner and thinner. I guess it's the clear liquid diet, running out of stuff 2 eat though. But I'm hanging in there. Gotta sore throat but don't know what that's about I hope it goes away soon because I hate sore throats.  The weight is goin down because Imma use this tool the best of my ability. One

Just checking in with my OH Fam. I have good news and bad news.  The bad news is, I didn't meet my goal because my 36th birthday was yesterday and I haven't had surgery yet.... But the good news is my surgery date was confirmed today for April 20th... I'm really excited and anxious all at the same time, I can't wait.  Peace and blessings to all.

Hey OB Fam. I'm just checking in, I hope all is well.  As for me I'm doing well, I've gotten good reports from my doctors, lost a few lbs. on my own and I'm  waiting on the green light from the insurance company.  My potential surgery date is in April.... Yay me!  Peace and Blessings

I went to my Dr.'s yesterday and found out that I can't get the sleeve... I already knew that I was not a candidate for gastric bypass.  I am very disappointed because I've heard so many stories about the band and how it doesn't work, so hopefully it will for me.  Although I am not having the surgery that I wanted, I'm gonna keep my head up and be thankful that I am still able to get the lap band.
