I can't believe it's been a year!

Sep 17, 2009

Sorry I don't get on here very much anymore, I hardly even Facebook!
So, it's been a year and 2 days since my surgery and I'm glad to say all is well! I'm still working at my oil tools store. I started in the office, but moved out to the store to be amongst the people. I sell parts for the oil field and pipelines in our area. i used to go on more deliveries than I do now since we're pretty short-handed there. I love my job, I've learned SO much, plus I get to give people crap. Being a smart-ass is kinda my forte.

I thought I would mention that I'm living a normal life, eating what I want to (for the most part) and still being able to have a "drink". When I signed up for this, I wasn't sure what kind of lifestyle I would have after all, but I still enjoy everyhting I used to, just at a much smaller scale.

So here's my new stats, I totally lost my measurements I took when I started, but these numbers are good enough for me:
This morning I weighed 164 - starting weight was 288 total weight loss  -  124 pounds
(I set a goal of 113 pounds loss with the Doc)
I now have a BMI of 23.5 rather than 41.3, which I started with.

Well, I better pack it in for the night, Just wanted to update things since I hit this important milestone. I'm doing way better than I ever imagined and I hope the best of everyone out there going through this whole thing. It's quite the ride, so put your hands in the air and enjoy it!!!
