Jan 1/12

Jan 01, 2012

Ok, here is something new. GAINED since last time. I am 158 now, after being off work since Aug 8/11, so I guess that is really not so terrible considering. No activity at all. Eating whatever I want, all night. So today I realized my pants are tighter, and I feel bigger, so this has to turn around now. I do NOT want to hit 160. If I could get back to 150 I would be fine. So today I made a vow to God that I would not eat food til this friday, shakes, tea and drinks only. No coffee with cream either. Maybe this wuill shrink my gut and get things rolling again.

I should not feel to badly about this, it could be a lot worse. Nobody can actually tell I gained. I can, that is enough. This sucks, I am a total grazer. Never veg, always bread and butter, cheese, liverwurst, chocolates. I am such a dick! Better update next time I hope.

same old same old...

Jul 02, 2011

Nothing different, I top out at 150 and sometimes the scale drops to 148.

I graze like an antelope. Constantly, and every hour through the night. I wonder what would happen if I stopped that. At least no gain, so that's OK. All is well, no tragedies...hope same next time I write!!

Maintaining the same damn weight

Feb 14, 2011

Well, nothing changed since last post. Same weight!! I bought an elliptical last week so hopefully that will get something moving. I am always between 150-155. Not bad but could be better. At least I am not getting higher. THAT would be the worst.

It's over...

Nov 14, 2010

Well here I am still at about 155. 152 to be exact. So I guess this is it for me, I have not gained or lost in so many months, so now I am at maintenance stage. This is it.

Truthfully, over the last 10 months or so, I have NOT used protein, vitamins or anything as a supplement. I was supposed to of course. I am starting to wonder if I sabotaged myself to this stop in loss. I wanted to lose another 25 pounds.

I have just started to take protein and vitamins again, so I will see if my loss starts up again with this. I will update soon if anything changes.

PS I have always eaten whatever I want since surgery, never counted anything or tried in any way.  I eat pretty well but admit it is sometimes the wrong stuff, well ok,. often the wrong stuff.  White bread with butter,  just not a lot obviously. I can handle half a baloney and cheese on a kaiser at a time for example.  One small slice of pizza. One beef tenderloin medallion. A bowl of stew. A bit more that at first that's for sure, but not gaining weight at all.

Oh, I hope next time I write, there will be a difference.   Bye for now.

almost one year later

Jul 17, 2010

Hi, well I am 155 now, and people comment on the loss every day at work. I even got asked out on a date by someone at another company I visit. I am married, but can't complain about being asked out, compliment!!! The person did not know I was married, as my wedding rings can't be worn, they fall off now!! I am waiting to get to a good weight and then take them for resizing. I want another 30 pounds gone. Bye for now, -Michelle.

slowly buy surely

Feb 28, 2010

174 pounds as of today..not a dramatic difference since last post but at least it is going down. Can't wait to get out of the 170's!! I am wearing a loose size 18 now, and will be moving into 16 very soon. I was a tight overflowing 20 before surgery.

My hair loss has slowed I think, the ball of hair after combing is not as big these days. My hair is a lot thinner but I don't think many people can tell. It is no big deal, really. But for a couple of months, I had big tangles of hair when I finger combed with conditioner in the shower.  I always do that to detangle the mess so I can just blow dry after and not have to comb, to prevent frizz. I am happy to trade fullnes of hair for the 50 + pounds I shed in the last 6 months. I was 236 2 weeks before surgery, 226 day of surgery, now 174!! Not too shabby. But still slower than most people here.   No complaints!  Bye.

Jan 30/10 I am 179 pounds

Jan 29, 2010

Hi there, well I am finally getting noticed now. I am 179, and it is moving, slowly but surely and now people are mentioning I look different and great. I have not been this weight for many years. My clothes are so baggy, I must buy more smaller sizes. I can't wait til my next post, hopefully down another 20.

Last time I weighed 150 pounds was about 10 years ago, when I went on a gym/weight lifting binge. I had a friend who acted as a coach, and we went every day. She was a trainer, and told me what to do. I lost a load of weight then, but it was such a short period, it all came back fast. My lowest was 150 and I was pretty happy. Also quite muscular. I never thought I would ever get down even close to that, right now it is only 30 pounds over that and not so far as before! It is in sight. See ya, bye.

July 29-Nov. 23, whopping 28 pounds

Nov 23, 2009

Yes, only 28 pounds. Seems like most people drop that in the first month or 2 .

Well at least it is still going down. And finally under 200 pounds. My first 3 weeks was the fastest loss. Then it just sort of stuck there for months. Finally moving, about a pound a week, sometimes 2 pounds a week, but only for the last couple of weeks! I am afraid to think it is starting to roll now, it will probably stop again and I will be upset all over again.

I bet I am the slowest loser here. And I have great restriction, only thing I can really eat a lot of is soup, and I don't even bother with that much, and never cream soups either. Even mashed potatoes fill me so I don't bother.

I hope I have better news next time...more noticeable news. Nobody can tell I have lost weight, maybe only so slightly.

Bye for now, -Michelle.
