Sleep study

3/24/05 
Hi Gang Not much to report I will meet with the sleep study doctor today to see if I need to be tested. I will update later. Same Day Well, I met with the sleep Dr. He has order an overnight stay for a test to see if I have sleep disorder. On a more personal note, I am so tried. So please let me vent a little. I have been working two jobs for over 8 month now and help taking care of my sick mother. It is starting to take a toll on my marriage, as well as my body. My mother has had several stokes and is unable to care for herself, so my two sisters and I have been taking turn going down to the house to sit with her until my brother get off of work (mind you my brother lives with my mom.) My day starts at 5:45am when I get up to get the girls up and off to school. Then I have to get ready and off to work. I work my first job (at a bank) from 7:30 am - 4:30pm, and my second job, (a cleaning service) from 5:30 - 9:30 pm. After I leave my second job I am off to sit with my mother until 12:15 am so it 1:00 am when I get home and about 2am before I fall asleep. Then it starts all over the next day for five days a week. AS you can see, I am the postal boy for that saying “there is not enough hours in a day.” I have vented long enough. Until later.

Hi Gang

I went to my doctor yesterday. I am down a total of 19lb, which she was thrilled.  I have been schedule for my sleep study and my psych exam in on 4-6-05.

She did however raise my meds for my diabetes. Two months down four more to go.

On a more personal note Terry surgery was postpone due to his heart doctor said he needed to wait.

Hi gang

I HAVE A DATE Yessssssssssss Yesssssssssss

MY RE-BIRTH IS 4/24/06. I am so excited to start a new life.

Now the count down to a new life begins. I have enough time to get my house in order and get my shopping list together.  I have so many emotions going on right now. I have worked so hard for this date that I can not believe that the date is only a month away.

Hi gang

Appointment canceled because DR Weaver had energy. I was so hurt; I just knew that I would get a date. However she did give me one for next week on 3/15/06.  I guess I would get my date than.

Appointment with the nutritionist

2/24/05 Hi gang I had my appointment with the nutritionist she gave me some good pamphlets on diets and type two diabetes. I have a good idea on want to eat now. On a more personal note Terry is scheduled for 3/14/05 to have back surgery. So I guess I will be okay with my surgery. Until later

Test result

2/22/05 Hi gang I went to get my test result on Friday I was told that I have type two diabetes and was place on meds. I was also told that the pains in my legs and back are due to my weight. They also had to change my diet again to lower my sugar intake. Now I have no idea what to eat. I do not want to eat wrong and my sugar stays high, however I want to eat enough not to get sick either. I am so confuse. However one month down five to go. Until later

First appointment

2/10/05 Hi gang I had my first appointment with my doctor and was taking off the 2000 calorie diet and place on a Low Carbohydrate diet. I am able to have 45 carb per meal and 15-30 carbs for snack. The good news is I was down 2lb from the 1/22/05. I have my appointment with the nutritionist on 2/22/05 I will update then. On a personal note We had some bad news; Terry needs to have back surgery. He has been in a lot of pain for months now. This may delay my surgery but it has to be done. Until Later

Good as it get

1/21/05 Hi gang I am off and running. I have started my 6 month supervised diet (which is required by BCBS of Al). Cindy and the office staff were great. She explains everything in detail and helps set some of the appointments I needed for approval. She wants me to lose 15lb before my surgery. I was placed on a 2000 calories a day diet. There is so much I have so much to do to get ready for this surgery. I plan to have everything for the insurance ready so there will not be a delay. I AM ON MY WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE. On a personal note Charlene made the honor roll with 5 A's and 1 B. Ashley made straight A's I am so proud of them. Until Later

1/17/2005 Hi Gang I attend the WLS seminar on 1/15/05 and made my appointment for 1/20/05 to meet with Cindy to get everything started and with god help I will make it thru.
