Hi Nicole: The no sugar added is the right carnation instant breakfast. I used it and it worked great however you need to add extra instant nonfat dry milk to it for higher protien level.You may should buy several boxes for the first 2 weeks.Did he suggest sipper cups and baby spoons and forks? Get them because you may need to be reminded to slow down on your sipping and eating besides they will help you take small bites and sips.I am 6 weeks post op and I am able to eat alot of good tasting foods now and I never had vomited or had diarea since 2 weeks post op.I have now lost 51 lbs and 2 dressand blouse sizes and 1 pants size since my surgery. Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.
