I had been checking a breeder daily for price decreases of her 12 Biewers (off shoot from Yorkshire Terriers) and on March 29 I brought my Kasandra home. I am so amazed at how calm (after a Jack Russell) and she does not bark, is a cuddle bunny and very very sweet. I was going to wait until plastic surgery but could not wait. She is now 7 months old and makes me smile daily. I am happy to have adopted her into my life.I am down 140lbs and find it a struggle but determined to get down another 60 lbs. I have been losing about 2-4 lbs a month. I am trying to lose more. With Kasandra in my life I am walking at least 2 km on a good day. I have discovered a brand of glucosamine called Complet-X by Platinum from GNC stores. I swear by it. I am now mobile and walking where before I needed a cane, I do not use one now. Yippee!
Dr Dent was happy as he stated normally one year after surgery people stop losing. I attribute my new goals to my sister who found I was getting smaller than her and picked up her act in dieting. Her comment that she was serious and I wasn't, spurred me on. My goals these days are 5 lbs at a time.
I am currently on sick leave prior to my retirement date of November 13th. I have found a new hobby. Jewellry making.
My new outlook is never step out of the houser unless my hair, my makeup, my jewellry and my clothes are perfect. Even if I am just walking Kasandra. I feel and look so much better. No regrets!!! Hey for a 60 year old, I am still hot!
