Mark Nickols

"My surgeon is Dr. Nichols and I think he's the greatest! I chose Dr. Nichols because I have had the opportunity to observe both he and Dr. Stone (the only two local doctors doing the surgery) with patients post op and I was impressed with Dr. Nichols manner. I was not the slightest bit disappointed when I had my first one on one meeting with him either; not 5 minutes after he came in to see me in his office, he was pulled aside and told he had an important personal call, he told the nurse to tell them that he would be a few minutes. I was expecting a hurried and brief visit, two hours (and bunches of questions later) I left his office very satisfied with the time he had taken to answer my questions and go over procedures with me. He was very thorough in regard to what is expected of a qualified patient before and after surgery. He does by no means paint a rosey and/or misleading picture of this risky procedure. Neither one of the doctors here accept especially high risk patients and are just starting to accept men as apparently they are more difficult and both of these surgeons are still new to this procedure. I honestly can't think of a single thing I did not like about him. I do have to say this though, his nurse Kim is helpful, prompt and nice, but the rest of the office staff leave a great deal to be desired. God forbid you should even need to call for information, or even try to return a call for that matter! I'll update this postop when I'll be able to give a more complete apprasial. "

"My overall hospital experiance was wonderful I was unfortunate enough to have complications and before I knew what was going on I was moved to Intensive Care. I was being fixed before I knew there was a problem! Now THAT'S service!"
